Festivals give us an opportunity to engage our children in Indian Mythology and tell them about gods and goddesses. Krishna god is famous for his naughtiness and our kids relate to the god in a very special way. This colouring activity sheet will introduce your child to the word- Mukut or crown and they can cut and wear it as their own.

Steps to do the activity sheet:

1. Place the activity sheet in front of your child.
2. Ask him/her to identify what is made there.
3. Tell your child that it is a crown/mukut that gods and goddesses wear.
4. Now ask your child to colour and decorate the crown.
5. Once it is done, help your child to cut along the lines to make a 2D mukut of their own.
6. For sturdiness, place the cut mukut on a thick paper. Tie the ends using the thread according to the size of your child’s head and enjoy.
